best pipe?
The MBRP slip-on is the ONLY pipe that provides some semblance of sound control. It also has a decent bump in low end power, and don't forget that it is completely maintenance free. I've been very happy with mine. Good luck with your search!

well since some guys brought up the ct, i'll throw in the graydon, after i repacked the pipe it seems on the lower side of loud, which is good for where i ride. i've had it and the woods on the same engine and i can't say i could tell the difference on the power, the finish is in the same boat as the woods, it turns blackish and doesn't look great, the fit is great it hooks up easy and doesn't hit anything. well just another view, since pipes go for about 400-550 i don't really feel any of us know exactly what the best pipes are, well there was azsand that had about all of them and on the dyno. the only other way is to go to the track and change pipes and see how it changes your run times, actually maybe the better question is what is the worst pipes. i seem to remember people being very disapointed with the 1st generation of big gun, i've heard the new ones are better, but i meet another ds guy at the dunes and he hated it, but to be honest it sounded like he needed new gaskets at the head. i just got some that are different then the stock ones there copper and made by cometic, i think they worked pretty good, i alway thought, the stock could get compressed and cause some blockage
