I plan on putting on the new TBR products some time in Sept or Oct. BUT I want to be ready. Is there ANY gotchas or things I SHOULD replace while I am doing the swing arm and arms??
How about skid plates? Chain gaurds? Seals???

Stock ones should work on TBR swing arm. Just get rear shock re-valued for the -1

did the TBR swingarm come with pivot bushings? if it didn't order some, don't even bother trying to remove the pivots bushings from your old swingarm.
I really like the stock skids - they are very strong, last quite a while, and are only $20 ea. so when they do wear out they are cheap to replace. when your aluminum wears out - and they all do and will - they are quite pricy for a throw away item. I've been meaning to get a set of TBR skids - chormoly angles made to go over the stock plastics, double the protection, and the chromoloy will way outlast aluminum, but I dunno if they're worth the price.

yeah i know the proarmor is really nice, best aluminum in my opinion. but the part that gives it its strength is also a hangup on high centers and deeply rutted trails - the way its one wide plate that bridges across the two mounts. but if I bought alum for my DS, it'd be the pro-armor, no doubt.
