Yuasa Battery
I have an everstart battery on mine, I think it has more power than stock, I like it better than those crap Yuasa batteries. I just bought it at wal-mart for $49 and it has a 6-month replacememnt warranty, so I go get a new battery every 6 months weather I need it or not. and wal-mart is a lot closer to me than the yammy dealer.

Dude, is that a gel battery like the Yuasa ? If it is.....I'm buying me one of them suckers !!!!!!! I talked to the dealer and he's kinda giving me an attitude about warrantying them. He tells me that he thinks its the RW cdi box drawing it down. Hmmmmm.......how can it draw it down with the FUC*%NG battery disconnected ? AND.....I told him that I wasnt the only one in the world with the RW cdi box. It's not like everybody with the box has dead batteries....jeeeeesh !!!! Also, in my worthless opinion, I or anybody else should'nt need a "battery tender". It sounds like your just putting a band-aid on the problem. Batteries, when taken care of and not abused, should last a reasonable amount of time.

Lets say that your right about the voltage regulator. Then why do all of the tests on the machine check out ? I would be happy if that was it. Is there a good way to check it ? My bike charges fine when running, and after a day of riding, the battery will fire the thing right up. But if you let it sit for a day or two it goes dead....even with the thing disconnected !!!! Do you have a part number or model number for that Deka battery ?
