reading a spark plug...

Default reading a spark plug...

Just want to my carb adjustments by the color on my spark plug. White is too lean? Dark brown is too rich? .. my color should be a light brown? .. I need to check only 1 spark plug? what should i torque the plug to?

somewhere between 12 to 18 ft pounds, tan plug is good, black or white is bad.
