Topend Break-in w/Alcohol

It probably could be done Scooby but I wouldn't recommend it. Alchohol tends to get past your rings in the first place! Just think how bad it would be with a fresh set of rings and a new Cylinder! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] Just break it in with some 110 and then run the alchohol, better to be safe than sorry.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I also do hot rod garden tractor pulling and I run alcohol. The engine goes from totally fresh to wide open with no break in, I just change the oil after I get back to the shop. They usually last for 2 years before I re-ring and put in new rod inserts.
Oh and they also do not have an air filter.

Sears gone mad: Sears lt 10 hood grill and dash on homemade frame with a 1000 kaw ninja with big bore kit stroker dif carbs and ported and polished, tuned exhaust with equalizer pipe to keep back pressure equal on 110 racing gas [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
