the hub is a press fit.

you remove the axle with the hub on.

pull off (requires some effort) brake hub and slide axle out right side.

Default sprocket hub???

it can't come out on the caliper side because of the adjusting nut.

I've got to add some info... or maybe help to clarify. It seems this is a huge topic this week!!

The sprocket hub will only come off once you have;

Either removed the collar on the left side and backed off the Rotor hub....
(Doing this allows you to move the Sprocket hub slightly... so you can get to the retaining ring and remove)
or
Remove the axle all together.

I'd remove the axle all together to make it easier.
Hmmm... I just re-read your post.

Go look at the "axle removal" thread.... It's much easier to understand, plus there's a link to pictures.... etc...etc.

"I'm just trying to make my 100posts!!!" hehheehhe

Cool...

I found my bearings to be pretty damn dry.
Since I didn't have time to buy new ones, and re-install.... I used a 60cc syringe full of some moly (water proof) grease and shot those bad boys like a horse. They should last me some time.... but I'm too going to order a new set, and the bearing tool for next time.

Glad you got it worked out.
