Default How much,

Oil should come out when you pull the drain plug??? I had maybe about 6 oz come out from the drain plug. I pulled the hose that goes to the engine and there was about the other 2.5 quarts.

Hmm???

Default How much,

The system seems to hold about 4 qts. total, that is the more important number. I noticed I got a lot more oil out of the tank than I did the drain plug on the bottom of the engine. While your chaing the oil be sure to clean the screen filter that is in the oil tank. (When you remove the hose from the oil tank the screen filter is up in there.)

Default How much,

Did you drain the Oil Tank? or the Crank Case? You need to do both.. The Oil taink is under the nose plastic.

Default How much,

I changed both, I was just wondering how much should come out of the drain plug. I also checked my screen and it was all clean. Lucky Me!!!

Thanks!!!

Default How much,

only about a quart comes outa the motor, it varies a little, seems the longer a motor sits the more will come outa the crankcase.
4 quarts total.

I have yet to get anything significant outa my tank screen - its a full 3" long, and I've never had more than a few slivers of metal on mine, and it was well over a year before I ever cleaned it the first time! some guys have suffered motor damage from oil starvation due to clogged screen, can't imagine where the cloggage is coming from.
