J.A. these guys are right , those asr arm have crap hiems on them. I was following my buddy on his ds and watched as the hiem broke when in tight woods , in third gear on the gas ! He's ok BUT he pulled a 3 in. round stump out of the ground and came within inches of surfing a 3-4 ft. round oak tree when the tire went flying in the air and the lower arm dug a huge trench in the dirt . He did take the bars in the gut and bruised his chest up pretty good . Be carefull .

Well thanks for all the good advice on this topic, i have nothing but good things to say about the performance of mine.. it is crap that i had to grind them to make them work.. that alone makes them pretty shaddy, but so far they have performed flawless, but ill start checking them for cracks and stuff.. i dont want to land big air and break the joint...
well good thing they have a lifetime warrenty!
thanks guys

Thanks for your replies.
It appears that the performance of the ASR upper a-arms are a good improvement over stock. No one has argued about the improved handling.
My questions now turn to durability of the ASR upper a-arms:
1. How long have you owned ASR uppers?
2. Besides the a-arms rubbing the shocks, what mechanical problems have you had?
Thanks again for your time.
