Your Riding Impressions: ASR upper a-arms

ASR upper a-arms
1. Do your a-arms hit your shocks?
2. Do you feel more confident at high speeds (50+ MPH)?
3. Does the front-end still want to steer up the outside (high-side) of the trail?
4. Does the rear-end still want to pass the front-end on slippery surfaces (snow)?
5. Does the steering feel lighter at slow speeds?
6. Was it really worth your money?
Thanks for your time.

2 = Sure... I did with stock ones though. A lot of darting with stock (sometimes scary but nothing to slow me down). And with the ASRs.... it's minimal if not completely gone. I haven't had the time to make sure yet that the ASRs are 100% "dart removed".
3 = Hmmm... ya know, that's what that feeling was as stock!!! I wondered where that came from. I even moved my **** to correct that feeling. I haven't had the chance to see if the arms have corrected it yet. I will this weekend though!!
4 = No snow here.
5 = Most definitely. It steers like power steering now. Not like a MACK truck. Isn't positive Castor great!!!
6 = Heck ya!!! For $159 plus a couple bucks shipping is was worth it!! Let's just see if they don't fail me on the trail somewhere. That's my only issue. I ride hard, treat my quad with little respect when I'm on the gas... After speaking with TBR, they said I have to watch the heims... that they brake. But again... maybe they were more eager to sell me they're arms. I don't blame them... but so far the arms have held up great.
I hope that little tid bit of info helps!

Had to grind the hell out of the insides to stop them from trying to hit my TCS fronts(wider than stock)... But now after playing with differnt caster, camber adjustments its awsome... loves to fast, well worth the money.

Hehehe...
It must be Brian... under that cloak of TBR login!!!
How ya doin Bryan?
I know you weren't shoving them down my throat... and ya know you were just being informative. I actually appreciated all you said, and how much you helped me out. But remember... I said they were already in the mail and I was going to give them a try. If they bust on me... no biggie. Unless it sends me over the bars. But then again... I paid for 'em, I've got to try 'em! And I didn't mean it to sound like you were throwing the salespitch... I just didn't eloborate on our phone conversation, which I will in this post.
Again, You guys are up and comming here in SD... and more power to ya!!!
I can't wait to get my extended and strenghthened steering stem... (I know, I've got to bring you mine before I can get one!) LOL!! I'm just waiting on my TAG bar clamps, there were on back order. If I give you the stem to rework.... I'm out a quad to ride. That's no good. It's killin' me to wait though!!
Anyway....
Keep up the good work. And at the risk of sound like a suck a*s... I totally appreciate all you've done for me. The time you spent on the phone, talking about what you're doing for the Bomb. It's hard to find a shop that wants to talk "shop" without promoting ONLY what they sell. So I totally understand that you back your own. It's expected.

I race Desert. No I have never used ASR and never will! Just have seen lots of bent, sloppy heims Arms and holes in shocks! If you are doing long rides in Baja to Mikes and such I would not have them on your quad. Just my opinion!

whoaa.. never heard it put like that.. i jump mine about 15' high by 80' all day long and have no problems yet. i spun the joint out at the wheel all the way in as far as possible for the most strength and did the adjustments at the frame joints. I do ride pretty hard, i ride with 3 guys that mx race 250Rs and really give them a run for there money at the dunes.. and i air bigger than all of them.. Those dudes keep telling me a ride a DS, like theyve never seen.. But then i guess you know best about ASR(i dont know why)

You must have some very special ones. The ASR arms I have seen all the heims were done after a 100 mile race. Maybe its just me but I don't see ASR uppers a deal when the company was once Rebel Racing and you have to grind on them to make them fit.
By the way you put two good riders on a MX course one on a DS and the other on a 250r the 250r wins everytime!
