Well we went out with the intention of comming home with a Z or KFX 400. Ended up with a 2002 400EX. We got just a SWEET deal on it from the dealer and it was just in mint shape.. It's all stock I am not sure if I will add to it or not.. The wife just loves it!!! I am not ready to sell the DS for one but MAN, I cant belive how much fun that thing is!!! Its SO ballanced and wheelys on command!!! You can for sure tell the power differance but MAN what a fun factor!!!!!!

thats great to here someone admit that the 400 ex is still a great machine although somewhat down on power in stock form but it can be made very fast .my wife rides a 440 ex and when i climb on it after being on the baja all day it feels so light that it is hard to keep the front end on the ground and it will keep right up with the baja in most situations.if your wife gets bored with the power level i can recommend a 440 build because they are a blast to ride with the ex being so light.i still think the 400 ex is one of the better handling quads available but i am sure some will disagree, well enjoy the new toy.

Man, we just got back from a 2 day drip.. I played on the EX in a big sugar sand pit.. O MY GOD,, I was doing HAND drages in like 3 minutes!!!! ITs SO ballanced and so much fun to throw around!!! I may want to bump it up to the 440 or 465 just for me!!! It has NO where near the DS power but MAN, is it small!!!.. It's old school but god what a fun trip it is.
