bad boot

when I was at a dealer talking to them about trading in my traxter one of the dealers said I have a bad boot...I know what the boot is but how can I tell if it is bad or not? any help wout be appreciated thanks

I looked at it this afternoon and it is the boot on the right side(when siting on it) that is cloest to the wheel...It is leaking grease....what kind of damage can this do and also my previouse question...thanks

well i would definetly replace it, theres a reason the grease is in there you don't want it 2 go dry, how much the boot is i don't know, i don't have one myself but my uncle who lives next door has one, i'll go over n take a look at it 2morrow n c wat i can figure out how to replace it,

ahh ok. Tommarow when I get home from school I might start taking it apart to see if I will be able to do it myself. And I guess I ride mine less then your uncel because I only have like 750 miles on it! and I have had it for 3 years now!
