well of course he musta been playin in the mud, from wat i can tell seems like theres a clip one end of it, but then again its hard to tell in the shed has left it in, no lights in there and all doors closed, , no i've never done it my self, and have you started taking it apart? anything you've found out yet, i wouldn't think its too hard of a job, just time consuming seem 2 me

no I havent started yet. I got home late from school and I didnt really want to start to screw around with it tonight. Tommarow I am going to try to get home at a half way decent time and if it isnt too hot out I am going to start on in. Some of the schools in minnesota are closing early because Excel doesnt want to blow part of the grid (like the east coast did) Just been hotter then normal.

well i took a good look at it, there is some kind of clamp on both sides of the boot that shouldn't be hard to get off, good luck

Yes there is two clamps to get off but in order to get them off you have to complelty disaasmble the wheel by the looks of it.. I am starting to take everything about and I am having truoble getting the nut off of the tie rod. turn the ratchet...nuit turns bolt turns with it. I am pretty sure that you have to take everything off of it....If I am wrong correct me

yes, to replace the boot alot will have to come off, and for the tie rod look and see if it was machined so you could put a wrench on it, my old suz was like that but ionno bout urs, otherwise u may need an impact

I decided to move on to another piece to get unbolted...the suspesion. So far everything has been standerd measuments (7/16 mainly I think one 1 and 1/4 inch) but then I get to the suspension and it is metric!! 15 mm and I only have on socket and no metric renches...now I may need buy a metric rench . so far I need to buy a couple of replacement pins and might want to replace a couple of the bolts. and then the boot. costin me more then what I thought it would. ohh well if it helps it sell faster then it is all worth it
