Oil light on??
#11
Now see there Angry - your last post there IS very educational, very good stuff indeed!
Now as for my opinion on the gauge - I never knocked it or discouraged it, and as a matter of fact I happen to have one myself that I most recently purchased. And I installed a brass tee where the stock sensor mounted to use both the gauge and the light. When I'm riding the hell out of a trail and flying up hills in 3rd gear with trees all over them, and the lighting is dim because I'm in a forest, I can't always have my eyes set directly on some needle waiting for it to tell me something - I might wrap myself around something really mean and nasty - maybe I won't see the light either, or maybe it burnt out, but maybe, just maybe it might work and grab my attention!
I also have the ESR temp gauge, which I really like, but like the oil gauge it too is difficult to keep an eye on, especially mounted down there.
The education on quads is a very broad subject that encompasses many realms outside of each individual's experiences, we all have very good points to share that are equally important. i just wish that open minds and broader perspectives were as contageous as sarcasm jimi.
