I got one a week ago from a dude in Mexico. He sent an email and said, " I know you don't take international visa or check payments for your stuff, so, send me your bank account number so I can deposit the money into it ...."

These are the same BASTAGES that tried sto screw me also!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] These scumbags are out of Nigeria, my FBI agent friend told me that if you ever meet a Nigerian to turn around and walk the other way! He told me that the whole country is nothing but a bunch of Con artists and people of little character. Good call Major!!! Make sure to report it to the FBI so they can catch these Bastages!!! They still ended up costing me $400.00 bucks!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img] The thing I don't get is for some reason they get the info from this WEBSITES! Classified section!!!! I had a guy in another country ask for the same on something I sell. I contacted my bank - first union and they assured me it was ok and they couldnt do anything to my account other than pay me. I saw the money in there after a couple days and left it in a few to clear. It worked out fine. the bank said its done all the time so I dunno. I didnt exactly feel 100% comfortable but the bank told me it was ok. They also can give you special routing numbers and stuff for transactions like this.

Yes i hate to tell you ironrod i give my bank acct# to Guy's in mexico all the time i just recived 78,000 from a mexican national named Enrique Hernandez!! thats the way they do buisness and now tomorrow my guy's will load his equipment up and send it to him as agreed!!!Thats why our banks are fdic!! Insured if they let money out of your acct.with out your written consent ITs THERE PROBLEM!!NOT YOURS[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] cool ain't it And to top it off if you do online banking you will know when the money becomes yours[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

Majorecho, tell him you will be more than happy to fly him down and pick him up at the airport to make a quik monitary exchange [to pickup his cashiers cheque] tell him that you dont trust the air mail system when i comes to money. Then if you CAN get him to come to the country, call me up and i will drive up there and take him for a drive...They TRIED to rip me off for my drag banshee, and they were from INDONESIA..We could use this guy for CHUM in lake Tahoe, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] I heard there some decent sized trout out there. Or for fun we could put him on a down rigger for about 10 minutes...let me know please..
