It's not that I don't like the DS, I love it actually...

But I will need to travel between the army base and home A LOT next summer, and to school, blah blah... I need some kind of transportation... Can't afford to insure a car around here.. So I'll probably get a 600 class Crotch rocket... I might even go to Team Blue (oh my god, did i just say that) with an R6... Who knows
u must have some wierd insurance up there, like to insure a small care is about half of wat a crotch rocket would be for a year

Well, under my name... about 5000$ PLPD for about any cheap 4 door...

My friend has a 1997 Honda CBR 600 F3.. and he pays 1300$ / year.. He's a year older than I am..

My bro has a 1998 Suzuki Katana 600 (Not really a crotch rocket, but close) and he pays 1150/year...

Wow, that is about what I pay in one year for two cars. ($1150) You should see if your insurance carrier has a discount for multiple vehicles on the same bill. When I added a compact car onto my insurance with my full size truck, my yearly insurnace premium went DOWN due to the big discount I got. That and you should also shop around at several insurance companies. I have AAA right now, and I called literally every major insurance company I could and none of them could come within $100 a year of AAA, so I stuck with AAA and saved at least $100 a year and the good thing is now I know I've got a good deal. Also see if they have any other discounts - some insurance companies will give you a big discount for good grades or even a healthy discount to watch a traffic safety video!!! imagine saving like 10% a year to watch a traffic safty video - once!
