The Rectifier really doesn't have that much to do with your spark Marky. You will risk frying your coils if you put anymore juice to them anyway.

The Trail Tech unit handles more watts than the stock unit. The stock unit gets fried because it cant handle the wattage of the DS. The Trail Tech one is also less than half the size of the stock one!

Default New Rectifier for the DS

The only major problem I had on my DS when I first got it was that... the stock volatage regulator went. Luckily the dealer took care of it. Since then I haven't had any problems. Still nothing worse than being stranded. Perhaps I'll invest. How much does the trail tech one go for?

I cant remember what Kelly at Trail Tech said it would cost. They just sent me two of them to use on my DS for the Baja 1000. I am going to wire them inside the airbox and one of them will be a spare prewired ready to switch over if the other goes!
