I heard you can have your rear DS hubs machined down, and redrilled for a yamaha bolt pattern.

This sounds interesting. . . (hint hint - send me a PM too!)

Can I fit 8" rims too?

How strong is the set-up? Any issues with jumping, etc.?

Is the actual bolt patern different or just machining some material off the hubs? Also why would anyone want to do this?

To run tripple buff tires, you have to be able to run a 8" rim.(they only come in 8") The ds bolt hole pattern is too big for a 8" rims. You have to have the hub"face" machined flat, and then re drill the Yamaha,or Honda bolt hole pattern.

Bigger.

I run Mx and as of now the only 18inch tire I can get to fit a 9 inch rim is the holeshot mx and I can wear the knobbies off of them in one day. If I could put razr tires on I would be happy but they only make an 18 inch tire in an eight inch rim. Thats why I would want to do this
