Default Paddle Decisions !!! Need help..

Well I'm ready to buy some paddles and have basically made the decision on Skat-Trak Haulers 22x11x10. 8 paddle. And 21x7x10 Skat-Trak Mohawks. From what i have read the Haulers give you the best traction and are still able to slide around. and the mohawks turn a little softer than a solid rib or dual rib tire. should I get a matching size front tire a 22" rather that the 21" what do you guys think?? I'm not real shure about paddles.
Thanks,
Tom

Those look fine. However you may want to consider 9 paddle if you have 22" tires. And, if you run 22" tires, remember to think about regearing because you'll loose some of your low end power with the 22". But other than that, it looks good to me.

I'd think you'd want to get at least a 22" front. I personaly would go with a 23" just because the stock size is 1" taller than the rear. Your tire selection in perfect imo also.

23's on the front and don't get regular haulers, they wont last more than 1-2 seasons- be sure to get the extremes.

Default Paddle Decisions !!! Need help..

Thanks Guys,
OK I still have some questions. where do I get 23's, and the extreme haulers I looked at rocky mountain and in there tire wheel combo they only had 21's for the front and 22 8paddle for the rear. I'm not on a real tight budget but don't want to spend more than 450-500 on tires and wheels that are going to only be used for the sand. which will be 2-5 times a year. anyway the setup I mentioned was 407 and some change how much more would I be looking at for the extremes and 23's. ohh one more thought do the taller tires make it more tippy or is it wide enough to handle it??
Thanks,
Tom

they don't make a 23'' exterme, they just make 23'' haulers, you could probley get custum made tho. and a set of 23's on wheels is around $700 for front & back! plus they only come in 12'' rims. call RM and order they don't put everything they got in the mag, and the website is even worse!! we got our's from scooby.

I have 23" 9 paddle Extreme haulers and 23 Smooth buff fronts mounted on 12" ITP magnum rims. I have run this set up for well over a year, and the paddles are still in great shape. I really like the extra ground clearence and the hook up well. But a 22/11/9 8 paddle will do just as well, and handle better.

I put my ITP set-up on my wifes V-force(which looks great BTW) and bought me some 22/11/8 8 paddle tripple buffs for my DS. I drag race alot

you don't need a 23" tire on the front, 22" is fine. 22" haulers are really a 20" tire, with paddles that make it 22". see my pics. i have 22" fronts and 22" rear w/74 rollout.

If I was buying right now I'd do the 8 paddle setup as well- 10 is a lot especially if you like to race unless you have a very built motor putting out big numbers.
