Default tunning with alky

I'm pretty sure DS650RACER is running alky on his stock 9.75:1 piston.

No way do you have to have 14:1. I have a 12.5:1 in mine and the alky picked me up quite a bit. I'm still in the process of tuning it but it is doing pretty good in my tm45 after I drilled the pilot jet out to .058", put the clip in the bottom groove, and run a 275 main. That is with the richest needle (95) and the oversize needle tube.

I would DEFINATELY do pretty good size cams too, with the big bottom/mid gains it FEELS like there is NO top end power!!! I have the WEB 110's, wish I'd went bigger!!!

Oh yeah, definately add top end lube. The racers at my local 1/8 mile dragstrip where I got my alky said to use it even if it is already pre-lubed.
