FINALLY some organised sand drags around here!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In St. George at Hurricane sand dunes my friends from Utah will be hosting some flat drag 300ft races with a tree..

There will be drag banshees and all kinds of four strokes lining up all day Saturday the 4th...I will have someone video tape most of the day useing a tripod so we can get some quality footage...then post it with wshrdskn..If Dave will..

I didn't know that there were any Sand dunes around St George Utah. Other than Coral pink a ways away. Is the sand redish like the desert mountains around St George?

 

Dave it called Hurricane sand dunes, The sand is very thin like coral pink and elevation is around 4,000ft..

This weekend I outran every 4-stroke [a few 690s] but this one kid who weighed 130lbs on a yfz that was set up for drags[ cams, cam mod and sparks pipe and lightened and I think high comp piston, he wouldnt say but i think he was running meth, If he would jump me out of the hole I had trouble passing him other than that I took him, I put a lighter rider on and clowned him, he told me that he had never seen a heavy machine run like my ds..those yfz do good on flats if built up good..This light weight guy was beating a piped and cam modded YFZ by half the track..If i do flat drags again I will definately advance the timing. But it was a good trip...well see how she does at Dumont next weekend..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Was anyone there at St.George sand drags that is from Atv Connection???speak up

 

that is the same thing i found on those modded 450's at dunefest there was two kids there on them and man if they weren't fast.
