will it work?? our friend sold his c-dale now he is going to buy a ds and put a zx12 street bike motor in it and i was wondering if it will even work??

The DS frame would have to be extensivly modified and the fuel tank relocated. The ZX-12's intake ports are straight up. You would have to fab some type of boot to relocate the Throttlebodies and this would impede flow alot(90 deg bend in intake), or do the same and use carbs. It would be a VERY expensive project. He would be better off using a ZRX1100 or 1200 motor. The intake ports would be in the correct position and the carburation would be useable(as would the ignition). Those motors make 130RWHP piped and jetted, not to mention they can be had for prolly 1/2 the cost of the ZX12 motor...

what did he get for the c-dale? that's to bad i liked that quad.

 

he got $4500 and it had a oil leck, but he had the +4 swing arm, he polish the whole frame, etc...
