i figured it was but i did check everything else you said and made sure everything looked alright, my neighber has a 01 ds 650 and he said i could try his stock cdi box cause he bought a hi rev one and when i hooked it up after fixing the voltage regulater she fired right up and ran so good i couldnt beleive it i got a steal i bought not running for 2150 in very good condition and then i bought the used cdi for 50 bucks so i have 2200 in a machine hardly ridden the factory tires are barley half worn out
