Ds 650 vs. Raptor which is better?

Yup.. It's terrible though! Just spend all that cash on a new quad and it's wrecked!!! After that crash he could have cryed like a baby looking at his quad and I don't blame him a bit....

Well there is an idea.... get a Raptor JUST cause it has reverse....
forget about reliability issues... just purchase one simply for the sole reason of the ability to reverse....

I've ridden the YFZ... no torque whatsoever. They do move pretty fast and have more of a high revving 2 stroke feel... but nothing terribly excited about it. I'm sure it flies nicely and the weight is hard to beat. It's as heavy as the upcoming CRF450 and you can further reduce it by removing the starter and battery and have it kick start it like a CDF450.
I like my torque machines.....not much of a high revver.

I have the 04 and love it. Mainly ride in the sand and the suspension is great. I have raced raptors and have beaten all of them, more than I have lost. The DS is more comfortable fas I am 6'2". The 04's are shorter, lighter and the rev limiter was raised. Alum top a-arms, new light and braided brake lines. They go for about 6k before then add license, and the other stuff

I just talked to my friend with the YFZ450 directly. I was told by my uncle what all happend to his quad, and he told me the story i gave before... Well it comes to find out that this story I got from my uncle was a load of $hit!! I walked up to my friend with the YFZ and I said , "ya I heard your quad is totalled!!" He looked at me funny and says No just the tie rods are junk and some cosmetic damage..... SO WTF HERE!!! Why did my uncle lie to me about something like that?? How dumb..
