I know that those cams REQUIRE you to keep the RPMs up at all time. Sounds like you also need a cam thats good in the mid range too. I finally settled on the 425 cams and added the 14:1 piston. The 425 are good in the mid and high, and the piston enhances the entire range. Sell yours on Ebay or use them as a core exhange?

My Buddy (FinalClimax here on the forums) has the Race 7 Cams and at this point is unsure about their performance (had some other issues to address first.)

If you are only drag racing, why not just hold the throttle near wide open and drop the clutch? I could see it being a pain to trail ride though, but for drag racing I don't think it would be as big of a deal.

well i do some racing in the sand. and with a good set of paddels it wouldn't be a problem. but i do most of my racing on medium to hard packed dirt. and i have out run alot of banchees.simply because they can't get a 2 stroke to hook up,that's where a 4 stroke puts the power to the ground. and i get a good whole shot and they can't make it up. but with the big cams i lose the whole shot. because they don't make any power until the upper rpm's. i could see on a dino they would make a little bit more power. but in the real world it's very hard to make them work. just my opinion.

One other idea. . . run alky and you will gain some low end as well as some top end.

I am curious about these cams. I am running the A1/A2 race cams from Ron Woods, and like them alot. But I have been curious to what my quad would run like with the 450's.

Hmmmm.

Flaming. If you want to, I am willing to trade you out cams, just to see if they will runn with my quad, and you can try out the A1 cams, and see if they are more to your liking. Just an idea... Atleast we wont have to be out any money(except shipping) to try out different cams.

Bigger.
