Jumping

Default Jumping

Well while I was at the trails this weekend I came a across a jump. I tried to jump it but my nose kept diving down. what did I do wrong

It could be the jump it self. Some jumps no matter how you hit them, they will kick the back end up. Thats how I broke my collar bone.

Also you could be letting off the gas too soon. That will also do it.

biggest mistake made jumping is not gassin it enough off the top,this will always result in a nose dive. also pulling up on bars at the crest will almost always help. practice practice practice!!!!!!

Yea give 'er some gas... But not too much as to pull a wheelie off the top just before you jump [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img].

nail it at the top. i take it your riding a DS? they are a little front heavy and need a little more juice when you launch.

gasing the top is the fastest way to kill a jump but also the easiest way for a beginner to learn!
