I would assume eBay would like to prevent that sort of thing from happening, I would hope they'll jump alover that moron seller as well. I'd definately take legal action - eBay makes it clear that the auctions are not a joke for the buyers, so it can't be any different for the sellers. What good is bidding on something if you don't know if you are going to own it once you win? Since thisappears to be a real auto dealer it'ed be fun to go take a visit & inquire about that transaction. Does the winnjing bidder have any friends in Arizona?

It's one thing to end an auction early, but another thing entirely to just not release the item after the bidding is over. I hope he gets the car, apparently that's a good price. (?)

I hope they have a bad reputation - however it isn't going to hurt them unless it hits Scotsdale, AZ enough. None of us who are out of state will ever buy a car there anyhow. Maybe the bidder should call a local newspaper in Scotsdale, perhaps they would be interested in internet scams.

The dealer IS for real.. ANd the car is still on the lot for 39,000 even though the dealer said they sold it that day to someone else...
