i was doing a search and saw where you asked the question birdoprey. sorry i didn't see it sonner only took me 6 months to answer. the busa is black with the chromes jap writing and a few crhome items like extended swing arm and wheels. my best time so far has been a 9.23 but i cant get my turbo to work right with the other mods so i'm not sure what it will run when i get it all tuned out. man why you have to ask my wieght? 205 right now but summer is coming and i will be back down to 185 by then so maybe that will get me a 1/10 or two. if i ever run it over at hallsville again i drop you an email. i run at red river alot.

You running a turbo on yer Busa? What kinda mph you pulling in the 1/8 & 1/4? Are you having trouble hooking up?

I just bought an 04 LE Busa a little over two weeks ago. Took it to the new track in Rusk the day i bought it(130 mi on it). Its 100 % stk and i weigh 186 suited. Best time that night was 10.02 @ 141.somthing mph(1.76 or so 60'). I went back the following friday and finally managed to break into the 9's! 9.995 @ 142.55mph(1.77 60'). I now have a set of lowering links, a strap for the front and a 16T front sprocket to put on before this Friday. My next goal is to beat my best time i ran on my 00' Busa(straped, lowered, 43T rear, small box mod, BMC race filter, PCII, BDE clutch mod) which was a 9.73 @ 142.50mph(1.611 60'). That was stk wheelbase. I may have to mod the 04 clutch hub to get some good 60's, but i'm gonna try it as-is for now(with just the strap, 16T, and lowered in the rear). I have 60'ed my old 00' in the 1.566-1.59 range(stk wheelbase) just before i sold it over a year ago, so i'm hoping i can get this one down there as well...

Lemme know if ya head over to Hallsville, i may be able to head over there. Its hard to pass up going to a new track thats only 15min from me though(the one in Rusk)...

 

So where did the auction go? Was there something wrong with it? Sounded like something amusing to look at. I clicked the link and I got an invalid item notification.

 

Those auction pages expire. I'm sure that's what happened since the auction was in November.

 

That would make sense now that I looked at the dates - this post started in November! Now I know what TexasPsycho was talking about when he took him forever to reply... doh!
