Default stage 2 or tvi 720

I already have the stage 1 installed on my o4 x I want more power is the stage 2 the best way to go ?
or a tvi 720 kit ? do you send the motor to him or do you build it yourself? I want to do it right i have already put the heavy springs and carbon fiber plates so that takes care of the clutch

Boy that tm45 carb is a little bit of a bitch to get tuned but putting the 50 a/p jet droping to a 32 pilot jet and a 155 main with 2 turns out worked pretty good it runs good thanks guys for the imfo. I was about to pull out hammer

while the 720 may cost a bit more than the stage 2, if you have the money now and want more power i would just go to the 720. i mean if you have the money, you're going to want to be faster anyways after a few weeks or months on it. and i don't think the stage 2 is that much faster than a stage 1 anyways. besides, you'll need the 720 to beat those modded yfz's

"may cost a bit more "? riiiight. I've seen stage twos as low as 650 bucks. There are lots of things to consider. Money being the greatest. Anybody have thier 720 dynoed for horsepower numbers?

My Dyno numbers with the Samcoe kit were right at 63 h.p. I don't know now what it would be with the TVI kit. Hey Gasser have you dynoed one up thier yet?

Sandcrazy, its widely accepted that stage 1,2,&3 or the 720 are the only options out there. I have a simple billet end cap and Lectron 46HV with ported intake, stock rev limiter, stock pipe, stock valves and springs etc. This combo has no trouble with a stage 1,2,or3. I think carburation and exhaust are very important and give the quickest and greatest power gain, after that HP gain per dollar gets expensive.

MudStud,

Evolution is a wonderfull thing. There are lots of new "stage II" kits just coming out shortly. Its amazing what you can get when you consider all the suppliers out there, not just the one you think of when someone says "stage II kit"

When you think about it, there are at least 4 piston choices, about 7 cam choices, & about 4 valve spring choices. That should make up about 5 or 6 package choices. Ron Wood Racing isn't the only one making cams, piston and valve springs.

MrHorsepower

Exactly! Yep, that endcap needs to be combined with a Big Gun CDI and a K&N Air Filter and quite possibly a Lectron Carb - Now that would be an intersteresting kit!
