Seriously though, i heard someone tell me before Bombardier had thos financial issues they were in the midst of creating a ds450. Does anyone have info on what it was going to be like? Are they still going to make it?

It would be cool to see it, it would probably be awesome.

 

I believe I can safely say that we ALL would like to see that happen...and yes that rumor has been going around for some time now. Bomb definately needs to step into that class market and match Honda's return with a factory backed rider in the GNCC. I would own one if and when it comes out.

December CycleWorld claimed this motor revs out to 14,000 rpm and produces more then 80hp!! It has a similar top end design as the CRF-450R and weighs the same as a single cylinder 450[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

Wow... I hope that engine gets built in any kind of off-road package. Sounds like it would really make the other manufacturers take notice.

Rotax had, or still does have relationship with Aprilla .........
The Aprilla Pegaso 650 uses the Rotax 5 valve 650 motor,which is very similar the DS motor.

Can't they do a little horse trading here?

 

ya, I have seen that Aprilla uses the Rotax engines in many of the road bikes, and even thier GP 250 race bikes.

That little motor just looks fast setting thier!
