Default Renthal bend?

My buddy bent his handlebars on his 01 DS and wants to replace them with some Renthals. What bend is as close to the stocker?

I don't think there are any Renthals that match the stock bend; they all hit the tank cover at full lock. That's one reason why extended steering stems are such popular options.

What one is close to the stock bend? And is there a way to keep it from hitting the tank without buy an extended steering stem?

There are no bars even even close to the stock bend. Sorry - been there done that. Either get another stock bar, or get an extended steering stem and a quad bend bar by Renthal or TAG.

After I bent mine, I put on renthals. I used raptor bars. They have a narrow clamp area and don't hit the tank (with factory steering stem). However, they will sit a little higher then stock bars. I like it for aggressive riding.

I got my wife's from RMATV and went with the atv bend. They do hit the tank at full turn but nothing to get a new stem for. Check out the pics

Look at Alba Actions website. They sell renthal bars and a billet bar riser that works great and looks awesome. It lifts the bars 1" and clears the tank no problem.

I just put a trail tech riser/adapter on mine with renthal fat bars. The bend is cr high and it is just a little taller than stock. I even have mine rolled forward and it is perfect for a tall guy like me. That bend is about the same pull back as the stockers, that is why I didn't buy raptor bars. The pullback was too much for how big I am. Hope this helps.

I got the renthal fat bar ATV bend, I like them alot. I got the tusk big bar clamp to go along with them. I wouldnt really recommend the riser but they do the job i guess. The tusk bolts they sent me werent even long enough, I had to grind the top of the stock ones into circles to get them to work (they were the cheapest i could find, oh well).
