Default FMF pipe won't fit!

I just got my FMF Powercore pipe from rockymountain ATV and it doesn't fit. It looks like they forgot to flare the end that meets the stock head pipe. I called FMF and they told me to send them some pics of the pipe and my stock head pipe where they join together. After he got the pics he said he wasn't sure what happened in production but all the pipe were do that way. So I am not sure what to do. If you guys plan on ordering one from them I would be carefull until the figure it out. Any other suggestions on a slip-on? I need to meet 96db sound limits?

I don't know why you wouldn't be able to go to a local exhaust shop and have the end flared. Take your stocker and the FMF and lay it on the counter and tell 'em you need this one to look like the other one...

I do custom exhaust for a living. The thing is they opened the end of the pipe to install the flare but didn't put it in. When I talked to them they said if I moddified it that it would void any warranty. Plus it sucks spending that much on a pipe that doesn't work especailly if you don't have the experience or money to fix the problem, which some people out there don't. Just trying to let everyone know about it before they spend their hard earned money on it. They are going to try and work it out and get the problem fixed. At least that is what Sal said at FMF. I will keep you guys informed on what's going on.

That blows...pretty ironic that if you fix it you void the warranty...
