My bike runs good for about 15 minutes then it cut out and dies. Vapor lock has been suggested and that makes perfect sense. I have changed my cap but want to know if the CDI box could have shorted out or done something to my rectifier? My battery seems fine and is holding a charge without any problems. I have taken the RWR off and put the stock one back on for now. Any ideas would be helpful.

 

Well I've ridden the heck out of my RWR CDI and my stock rectifier and never had a problem. However, you should know that the 2000 and 2001 DS did have an upgrade on the rectifier. The most problem I had with mine was burning out bulbs at higher RPM.
