New DS Won't Start
You've probably fouled your plugs. The trick to starting your DS may be the same as both my Bajas, which is.....Don't touch the thumb throttle! My '01 DS started like any other, but both '02 Baja and my new X just won't start if you use any throttle at all. They just wet foul the plug and that is that. Nada. Zip.
I STILL can't remember if the choke (enrichment circuit, not really a choke) is on when it is pushed in or pulled out! It makes less difference in the way my X runs than on the other two...So now I am really confused.
Hard starting can be a symptom of your valves being out of adjustment.....
