Well after I met those at the hill over t-day on sunday I was riding a wheelie and when I came down my right front shock locked up at the top of it's stroke and bent the shaft. well I delivered the bad shock to the dealer, B&B Cycles in Victorville, CA has really been good to me. and they are supposed to send the shock to the factory and I will get one I guess whenever they want to send it back to me so I doubt that I will be able to get out for New Years, anywayz hope I can get out and see you guy's some time soon,

ask around on here, i am sure somebody has their stock shocks lying around they wont mind letting you "borrow" till your new ones comes in, hehe

 

Hey Cdale, my stock shocks did the same thing to me back in 01. Seems like the bolt comes lose from the shaft and gets locked up in the housing at full stroke. It happened once and I got a new shock, the next trip to the track, the other shock did the same thing. I bought works shocks the next day and have not had any problems since. just keep an eye on the other one.

 

If the other one go's out after getting the replacment installed. I am going to order some works shocks. I seen on their site I can get a set, setup for me and my riding style for about $540 I wanted to order a set when the shock went bad but just can't cough with the 500 right now. Bombardier is covering the shock on a "good will gesture" I'm about a month out of factory warranty and the extended wont cover it. I'm sort of hoping the other one go's so I can get some works, I'd like to see how much of a difference some triple rates with rezzis would make.

Well just got back from Wyoming and I am in Vegas. Had a decent Christmas and I am getting ready for the Dunes this week.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Planning on being their either the 31st or 1st until the 4th. Does anyone know if Al is coming out yet or not? Should be parked at the same place as T-Day.

Yeah still kickin! I will probably be their Wedensday thru Saturday night. I need to get back for the Packers game on Sunday![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Is anyone coming out that might have an extra quad that my kid could ride? I can hook you up with fuel and maybe a little rental money if neccesary. I would like for him to be able to come out to the hill and be able to watch. I didn't get those coordinates last time, I thought you guy's were going to grab them, oh yeah you didn't make it over to us did you? Hey I think maybe DSJOBBER or Joshiepoo may have them! Speak up Laddy'S! ANyway, I will be at the far right side of the dunes next to the rock mountain in the area that kind of looks like a draw. Just take the right at the ranger station and follow that trail out to it.

 

Im getting the new baja x friday moring the 2nd and should be at winchester later that morning. My mom is going to brave the dunes for the first time on her honda rancher. so when you see a big guy doing circles up the dunes around a rancher come say hi. You have to promise you wont laugh to hard when you see me going to far back on a wheelie though. there is a huge power difference between this beast and the last one.
