Well i'm putting in my new headlight, how do the brackets go? i have the top bracket behind the dash bracket, is that rite?
does all of yours fit right?

I just got my stuff tonight and I need to make a trip to the Hardware store this weekend. I need some screws and rubber grommets and a male connector for the power to the lights. lilnotts did you get the lower bracket that mounts off the oil tank.

 

i got everything for it, but its sittin on the oil tank a bit n i don't like that, thats y i was wonderin if i did it wrong or somethin

 

Still trying to find a 3 pin male connector for the head light.

 

well for wiring i'm just going to use 3 flat male spade connectors, but you could just find a 3 wire trailer connector and just chop the plug off and put ur own on,

 

I too put the 04 headlight on. I went through just about every type of mounting option before finally settling. I didnt use any type of adjuster screw. I just bolted the lighting on so that the light pointed the direction I wanted it to go. If anyone has any pics of the "stock" 04 healight mounting that would be great. Still seems like this headlight is not made specifically for the quad. Must have been leftovers from something else.

 

You can use all the old mounting hardware for the old headlight. The adjustment screw is a little long.
