Default Rear Shock - Spring set-up . . . sag?

How much sag should I set up to run the whoops?

I was watching some of the video and I know I have my rear shock set up pretty stiff right now and I wonder if it is causing me to bounce over them too much.

What's the best set-up?

the right one

I am not being a wise guy either because thats too easy.

This is the truth and now figuring what the right set up is will be a totally new experience.

If you want search down the new posts or suspension forums for "everything you ever wanted to know about suspension" thread. Its moving kind of slow but this was discussed some allready.

were not talking about jumping, but rather drag racing through the whoops right?

if so , I would think the front needs to be on the stiff side, and the rear needs to be on the "boingy" side. he object is to keep the rear tires in constant contact with the sand, so I would think setting the rear shock as soft as possible(depending on your wieght) ,and make sure that the shock compresses easily, but has just the right amount of rebound.

WHat you think?i dont know much about suspension

there's to many diffrent factors to deal with, weight, comp. setting, rebound setting, riding style, tires, and front shock setting? you best bet is to take a day just to dile in. start all the way soft on all settings (in this order ajust) preload, rebound, then compression.

have fun!
