No, but you DID say that just because they improved some componets on the Sportsman line that the previous designs must have sucked. That is why I took that statement and comared it to the improved designs on the DS. Just to show you that that statement is rediculas. I know that the DS is a very reliable quad. There is no question about that. Its too bad you had problems with your Polaris. I have had NONE that I didn't cause. If you don't like Polaris, thats your deal. Dont buy one then. It won't hurt my feelings at all. And if you had a lot of problems with yours, I wouldn't blame you for not wanting another one. But for the Predator, it was a fisrt year machine. Polaris found its weak links and fixed them for 04. If there are more weak links in 04, then they will fix them too. Only time will tell if the fixes worked.

 

Exactly!!!! that has been my point the entier time!! Not all the issues are perfect! Its a first year quad! yammy what 3 years? same with the BOMB. You cant say that EVERYTHING is fixed for 04 when time has proven it.. There may be TONS of issus. THUS my point is that its BOLD to say its ALL fixed.

 

I own "A" Bombardier and I'm sorry to say that I haven't had a good experiance with it either. (That's putting it VERY lightly) But I don't think Bombardier sucks and I don't disagree that everyone else has barly ANY problems with their "bulletproof" DS650. I truly believe it's just MY DS that has had these problems, it don't mean they suck. May be you should consider that with your old Polaris.

I will say it again, its BOLD to say they fixed ALL the issues in a quad. how about they fixed all knowen issues!

 

And I didn't mean to come off "bold" by saying all fixed...... But all first year issues and more were adressed all at once for the 04 Predators... For example: Polaris revalved the shocks for better ride quality and even better jumping capabilities..... they didn't have to do that considering the Predator has excellent suspension to begin with.

Every quad, car, truck, bike, computer, dirt bike, man, woman, etc. has good and bad points. Polaris' aren't junk and Bomb's aren't junk. Everyone can point to a good and bad experience with anything.
