Yes it will. I just did it on my 04 Baja. You will need a 00-03 swingarm, 00-03 brake caliper mount off the carrier, 00-03 lower shock bushings(the new ones are to thin) with a new bolt, 00-03 brakeline, new chain, all 4 new 00-03 plastics(2 lower pads, lower chain guard, & upper chain guide), and reuse your 04 upper bearings and rod from where it mounts to the frame. The hardest part is getting all the parts, it took me 3 weeks to finally figure out all the parts I needed to get mine put back together.

My cousin said he would trade me arms, i just dont know which way to go. Cousins swingarm or aftermarket swingarm. What do you think ? anybody?:confused

 

I would go with the stocker. It is cheaper and makes a big difference over the 04 arm. You will need all the parts unless you find someone that makes an aftermarket arm for an 04 which I'm not sure if anyone does yet or will.
