JE 14:1 piston questions
My thoughts?
1) The rating is a true 14:1 with two base gaskets - no funny numbers being played here.
2) The piston was designed around the stock head - no problems
3) No need for stronger bolts - buy them if you want them - but they are not required.
4) No head gasket problems
I've been running mine for 6 months hard - no problems whatsoever - NONE!

JE 14:1 piston questions
Gasser....just how great of an impact on flame speed is made with this particular piston in this situation? Significant? Or something that can be overcome with an advancement of ignition timing?
p.s. 1 full season of drag racing on our 14:1/Webcam with no issues...and I think the tolerances are tighter than .080.
Would have to ask Mr. HP...

Hey ironrod, what cams are you using, what lift and duration? Will I have any problems with the RWR A1/A2 cams .433/.406? What kind of HP gains can I expect going from 11.5:1 to the 14:1 on Alky.
