Here's the latest: Procom may make CDIs for Alba and Big Gun, but after the lawyers got out the big sticks, it appears that Procom is in fact using thier own curve, not the Big Gun power curve as they have been advertising. Its important to note that Big Gun promises to improve horsepower, and will now be publishing its power curves and comparative horsepower gains over stock. The word is that Procom will refuse to publish its dyno. Interesting. What about Alba? Well thier boxes are exactly like Procom, with the same curve as Procom.

who was it that had an adjustable cdi? i think it had different curves built into a selection of performance levels. was this the vortex? has it been tested on a dyno to see how the different selections performed? currently i am running a graydon box, but with the 760 motor it might be nice to try an adjustable system.

i see that there is 10 different settings with the vortex. did you use a chassis dyno for this, or seat of the pants? it sounds like alot of tuning variables? but from what i have read the vortex does build more power than anything else out there.
