Power inverters when camping
For camping I bought a monstrosity of a deep cycle battery, I can't remember its intended use but it weighs about 150lbs and atleast twice a normal battery's size. It runs the camp trailer lights and water pump and stereo for a week and has enough left to charge my sons electric quad many times using a 700 watt inverter I got from Walmart. I've though about a generator but may just get a solar panel if the need arises.
I heard something about the sinewaves on cheap models affecting tv's but I don't remember much of what I heard, besides plenty of you are running tv's and aren't mentioning interference or odd effects.
