So as of now who is attending Martin Luther King weekend in Glamis? And where and what date? Are we going to wash 11 or was it a different one than last year? Still not sure if I am going but it would be nice to find out who is.

 

I will be there, but not until late Saturday night or early Sunday morning. It is a 25 hour drive for me !!!
I will be staying for a whole week though !!!
I know I want to camp in the washes, but not sure which one - have never been to Glamis before.
How many people can stay in each wash ???
I think I would like to be close to the store - washroom/showers !!!
Will some one hold a spot for me - tenting

Leaving Tuesday after work so I'll arrive Wed some time between 2am and 11am (depending on if I stop to sleep!)

I think a lot of people will be at Wash 11. There is plenty of room there for everyone.

My group will be camped on Gecko Road.

We should have the Margarita Machine so maybe one day when you are out for the flat drags come by for some icy green stuff [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I'll probably be there, and Gary / Bombastic will likely be with me. Haven't worked out any details yet.

Since I've only camped at Wash 11 once, on my only trip to Glamis whats the deal with the Gecko Rd area? Since the drags were there I assumed that was one of the more 'roudy' areas. I think you said something about the Gecko road area being better for kids, so what I remember of Gecko Rd. and what your saying don't mix. Is the Gecko Rd. camping a good ways away from the drags or what?

 

I've never actually camped at Gecko either. Last year was my first trip to Glamis and I rode from Gordon's Well to Glamis over X-mas holiday but, didn't camp there.

But, the road is 5 miles long so I'm sure getting away from the drags wouldn't be a problem.
