You should try pulling a 2000 model SP500. You should try following one through muddy ruts. You should try keeping up with a SP500 on mountain trails. Then you would try selling that Bomb. I wish there would have been one in the recent Mud Race at Fun Wheeler. It would have suffer the same fate as the other ATVs. Solid Rear Axel = High centered and stuck. To the guy that says the Wolverine is Sporty. I have a 2000 SP 500 with lift and 27X12X12 tires and raced the sporty wolverines in the barrel race. First and Second Place was won by Recons and I was in third place. The wolverines are fine in straight lines and jumping but they are a little squirly on corners. I have ridden several at wolfpen and they all seem unstable. They aren't really much faster in a straight away.

Yama,
I have nothing against the Yamaha buggies, they just dont fit my style.

My style is not runing wildly thru the mud/woods and trying to kick dirt on someone else like alot of the children do.

I am into doing something useful and making money, it is hard to make money with a toy and in comparrison, the Yamahas are toys. Clear?

Thanks

Bought the Traxter from P B Sports in Orange, VA, you can look them up under the Bombardier webpage.
The stock tires do a great job,I am using the AG type tires, 27X7X14, their is a reason the farmers use that design tire, it works and cleans itself.
Agree on the Traxter fits me fine, if I were into high speed runs I would think of something else like the DS 650, Have ridden one and it is more than I need or want, but for the guys that like that type it must be great. Its scarey to me.

Tim, If you like what ever your riding, stick with it. It wont matter what others think and if you think you can show em up, go for it, it wont take long to find out if your right or wrong will it?

Greg you need to read ATV Magazine last issue, when they put all those big boys together. They voted Bombardier. The SP500 was in the group too. They tried all different kinds of riding. The Bomb didn't win it hands down, but it won. Face it its a good machine no matter how much you like your sp500. In fact he wasn't even talking about your SP500, he was talking about a Grizz. GET A LIFE.

What did you do to get 14" wheels on your bike?

When reading a magazine, always remember they are swayed by advertising dollars. At one time or another they worship every atv as being the best. I looked at the Bomb and thought it was an awesome machine. I didn't buy it because of weight and suspension and the fact it has not proven itself yet. Even after the shortfalls, I still considered it. It is a good looking machine.

Did you mean get a wife. Cause if so, I already have one, and two kids. So if you meant get a life, I have that too.

You shouldn't cut another machine down unless you have driven it in all the conditions you where mentioning previously. You don't know if it actually is better or not unless you yourself has proof. I have a wife, 5 daughters, 11 grandchidren, which doesn't have anything to do with this debate. Your the one that started comparing the Bomb against the sp500, without no proof. Remember always have proof before you speak. Just because you own one machine does not make it better than another one. Everybody has their own preference.

You are correct. The only place I have ridden a Bomb is in a parking lot. It is probably a comparable bike in alot of ways. In East Texas there is alot of mud and it is very rutted. Because of this the SP500 is the dominant ATV. It has much more ground clearance than other ATVs. I am just speaking from my experiences. The bomb didn't seem any quicker than the SP500. I know it will not ride as smooth. It can't with a solid rear axel. They should have at least made it like the 500Artic Cat with semi- IRS We don't have to agree. I put much thought and consideration into my purchase and I own 2 SP500s. The comment about my family was susposed to be a humorous response to your rude suggestion for me to get a life. I wouldn't have thought a grandparent wrote that response.
