Default Lectron Carb

Does anyone know the best place to buy the Lectron 46v carb from? I have seen On Dunes offer it for $550 but read on a thread that it can be purchased for $350. Also would like it as "setup" as possible.

There are different styles of "Lectron Carbs". Be sure that you get the style that will best help the DS and do what you want.

Yes, I agree with Country Joe, do a search and see what the difference between the carbs are.

Lectron is like Mikuni and Kehin (sp), They all have different styles of carbs. They have different price ranges on the different cabs. You need to find out what is the best style for your aplication.

I have two different styles. One is for all around RPM's which is called a "High Velocity". The other, which I use on my drag bike, It is a straight through carb, it is designed for High RPM's and to move air, fast.

If you like the trail riding, and all around duneing, go with the "High Velocity". If this is a drag race only bike, get the straight through carb.

This is my opinion.

Buttfungus has dyno sheets with the 46hv carb on his picture page. These dyno charts are with the ported intake.
