If I remeber they are standard timkin bearings. The same as ones used in alot of dexter trailer axles. I wouldn't be suprised if the trailer you use to haul your quads have the exact same bearings as the DS.

just about any RV dealer can match you up with a set.
BTW, that's the axle bearings I was refering to.

GEARSMOKER,

Look to where you swingarm meets the frame. Then look at that metal part that has two circles in it. If you look closely on the swingarm in that area there is a zerk fitting there. If your still stumped PM me with your e-mail address and I'll take a snapshot to show you later.

Bear,
Thanx for the headsup! I have only 30 hours on mine and I couldn't believe how much grease it took to fill the swingarm. NO more squeaks.

Hey, everyone thanks for the "High Fives" on this post about the Swingarm and rear axle bearings. It make a guy want to write more ATV **** for you guys to read.

Now, we've all checked these areas how about the "A" Arms???? Are these tight as per factory specs??? the factory says to tighten them up to 42 foot pounds. MINE were VERY LOOSE, so I suggest you guys check this area as well!

Let me know what you find in this area as well! GLWBEAR@netmagic.net

Good riding the "Bear" as in GLWBEAR

Denton Stabilizer
Rear grab bar

'Just an idea.'
When you have the pivot bolt out of the swingarm, take a cut off wheel and cut a couple shallow grooves in the area where it rides on the bushings in the swingarm. Stop about an inch from the end so grease doesn't just squirt out the end. This will get grease out to the bushings easier.
