Az, I agree an independent would be the way to go. But , getting the carbs is going to be tough unless you know people . Maybe The bom, mrhp, and 222 will film some of it and post. There are a few forum members that can post the vid.

 

The dyno is at Paducka KY. This Sat I'm sure MrHP would welcome all spectators. MrHP sells the HV46 and the billet end cap. I sell the TM45 and the HMF slip on. Do you not think that we are not both going to try to get all out of each of our products we can?

I have know Eric for years. This will be as fair as possible to each product. No problems hear.

I understand your side Bartlett. But do you really think that all three will say the same thing? Even if he doesnt make but 1hp more to me its worth the money. Im always looking for max hp and easy rejetting.

 

Since you are going to test on a stock bike, how about getting a baseline with the stock carb. Properly jetted of course.
How about somebody jumping up and down on the bike while it makes its dyno runs to duplicate the nasty a$$ whoops on oldsmobile hill[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I have worked on cars since I was 12. But I still have alot of problems tuning my carb right. I can read a plug, but without the aid of a dyno you can never fine tune a carb. Small changes in the carb go along way. I guess the thing that you pay for is the fine tuning. Obviously Eric as spent the time tuning.

I think that THEBOM and MRHP are GREAT for this for 2 reasons

1: The bomb wants his to do the best is only natural as he sells them.. If you have raced him you KNOW he is fast!!!

2: Eric proably will make the lectron look good, thats how you win and put out more power....

I think BOTH will do their best to tune the carbs. I have camped with THEBOM and he knowes his $hit so does Eric.. I think they WILL do an honest job!
