I think the fact that Mr. Horsepower dominated his class at the aledo drags and he has been the National champion 4 or 5 years in a row tells you his combination is superior to anything out there. He has raced the fastest everyone had to offer and always won. Until someone can outrun him, he deserves the credit. It's a free country, buy anything you want to. Thats what makes this country great, we have that freedom. But how much money has all of us spent trying to find that magic combination. So are you really overpaying for guarenteed results???? or did he save you alot of money doing the testing at his expense. JMO

 

If someone can prove to me that the 46 doesnt make any more horsepower than the 45 I wont spend the extra on it. But no one can show dyno numbers to back there claims. Im talking real claims, same dyno same day with both having multiple pulls on the dyno trying to get more hp out of both. Until then Im getting the 46hv or maybe the 50!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I think it would be nice if Marky and MisterHP could work something out to end this..
have a properly tuned 46 and 45 and run them on the same quad on the same dyno on the same day. with more then 1 eye there to see.
AND post the dyno report to compair them.....

We need to include the intakes aswell. Both the ron woods tm 45 carb and the 46hv say that the carbs run better with ported intake. What you say Ironrod and Mrhp. Will you supply the carbs and intakes?

 

I emailed MRHP, lets wait an see what they say.. I hope they both step up to help clear up this issue.

I agree ported intake for sure..
The 46 likes the snorkle tube so I think we should set the carbs intake way the BEST everyone agrees on... then we test....

 

same bike, same head, same cams, same intake, same snorkel with the hose clamps on it, same gearing, same tires, same air pressure, same dyno at the same place and altitude. and ample time and unlimited runs needed to make sure both carbs are tuned best as can be. if one or both carbs is not tuned right for the bike it aint valid. boy this'll be hard to pull off, finding a non bias tuner that knows what he's doing on both will be difficult. Of course, it'd also be nice to see the FastByGast carb run against the Mr.HP super secret special too.
