The DS650 hands down, you see the Raptor's just an empty spot in my garage

The big question made by the initiator-which is best- brings us to a much bigger question (best for what?) and if you can answer the first question with either of the two bikes, just tell me this "what are the next winning lottery numbers"

I assume he means best for all around recreational sport riding, which basically would mean power, or fun factor.

therefore you assume everyone has the same interests as you. for fun sport riding then the raptor must be the best, because I have never beaten one in a race?

I respect your right to your opinion, 747. However, your opinion would be more interesting and useful if you disclosed your reasons for it and your evidence. I don't argue with your opinion or contradict it, asking why you think the Raptor is better and what evidence leads you to your conclusion. Thanks.

For the most part recreational atv riders want power, look at the banshee, most people i know who own one love it , and they dont handle all that great, but they have power. The 400ex handles great but almost everyone i know who has one gets bored with it and craves more power, im not bashing the 400ex, just trying to explain that for most weekend riders power is whats most important, for that adrenaline pumping excitement.

I dont think the raptor is better, I assume it will be better because Yamaha has more expierence building atvs, and they've had time to evaluate the DS650, and make their atv better, it wouldnt make any sense to release an atv inferior to its closest competition. I dont really care which is better, i care about the fact there can finally be some real high performance shoot outs!
