you don't have to bleed the system, on mine after i'm done puttin the oil back in after an oil change, i just turn the motor over with the kill switch in the off position,

 

TBR products is a good start for suspension and other mods if you want it to be plush and go straight. here is there website and mine also. TBR products

Nice V-force w/ snowtrax.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] here is what I did with my 2000 when I bought it. the roller was allready done. I had some trouble w/ it backfiring through the carb at times. come to find out they upgraded the vacume slide spring in 01 also the uped the pilot jet from a 37.5 to a 45. the vacume slide spring wasnt closing all the way so when I was slowing down it was letting fuel in to the motor.
the stock kendas spin like crazy. get some baja tires or klaws. a taller front tire took care of the twitchness for me.
IJMO this is how I would start mods
1 tires
2 end cap or slip on
3 15 t sprocket/ CDI & Clutch springs.

Ok here is the deal om my DS the vin sticker says aug of 2000 does this make it a 2001 or a 2000.. I was told by dealer anything after june of 2000 is a 2001 model any other way to verify this?

 

one of the changes they made on the 01's is they put a longer oil filter on this is located above the counter shaft sprocket, if the cover is flat i'd say it is a 00 if the cover looks like a cup that is about a inch deep i'd say you got the 01.

The pegs and heel guards are Roll Design, You can get them from Roll Design or TBR Products. TBR builds my quads and can get you everything. WE have a 55 watt radio for quad to chase communication and so on.

Looks like its an 01 has the 1 inch cup size cover....Ill post pics soon its in stock mode now but will be transformed soon....

 

The 10th digit on your vin # will tell you on any quad. Your is an 01

 

The four-digit product number is the best way to tell if it's an '00 or '01. I think '00 was 7404, '01 was 7449. It's on the other sticker next to the VIN sticker.
