OK, now I see what I should have done when I bought my first ATV last week.It is a 2000 traxter still in the crate that I payed $5350 for and included the prep and freight. I only had to pay the state tax. I also received the 2yrs. parts and labor warranty. Me and a neighbor where suppose to go together and get 2 of them for 5200.00 but he backed out. So me and the dealed spitt the difference. I to would like to know any recalles or helpful tips for this model. I have a link in the engin oil post--can I safely use Moble-1 in this older engin. Also there are two of these 2000 traxters left at my dealer, an electro puncher and a floor stomper, that can be sold for 5200 with the 2 yr warranty. Dealer has promised to give me back the orginal $150.00 if buyer comes with me. Those around W.Pa. and interested. E-mail me. the traxters i see at the shop i go to are there from serious neglect and then it is just to have a tune up. the rotax engines seem very durable

 

My father has had his for 4 years..Rides it often and it has treated him well...The only problem was the starter ,which you have to lift motor to get it out kinda a biatch..and his rear break caliper froze...But I think he was ridding around with break on and didnt know it...
